Cabo Pulmo is renowned for the remarkable recovery of its reef ecosystem and has become an international example of marine conservation. Access is carefully regulated, wildlife must never be touched or fed, and visitors are expected to follow the park’s conservation and safety guidelines at all times.
It’s an extraordinary introduction to the Sea of Cortez and an ideal addition to a broader Baja California Sur adventure, including La Paz or Cabo San Lucas.

Snorkeling in Cabo Pulmo National Park

Explore Cabo Pulmo National Park on a low-impact snorkeling experience designed around the park’s conservation rules and daily sea conditions. Visit up to four snorkeling sites with a small group aboard a shaded boat, accompanied by a qualified local guide.
- Las Navajas — the park’s main reef area, with hard and soft corals and rich marine biodiversity.
- Schooling Jacks — hundreds of fish moving together in the spectacular formations often described as a living “tornado”.
- Los Chopitos Bay — calm, protected waters with excellent visibility.
- El Carrizal — a healthy reef environment with the possibility of sea turtle sightings.
Includes: Shaded boat, mask and fins, required life jacket, wetsuit if needed, PNCP-certified guide, official park wristband, plus fruit, granola bars, water, and juice.

Introductory Scuba Experience

Take your first breath underwater with a guided scuba experience designed for people with no previous dive certification. Learn the basics, practice essential skills in shallow water, and then experience the underwater world in a calm, closely supervised setting.
- Approximately 40-minute introductory briefing covering breathing, equipment, hand signals, and basic safety.
- Essential scuba skills practice in a shallow, controlled-water area.
- Guided introductory dive in a protected marine environment.
Good to know: This is an introductory scuba experience, not a certification course. No previous dive certification is required.
